NSC, NOC top brass off to Delhi

KATHMANDU, July 7: Top leaders of National Sports Council (NSC) and Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) on Tuesday left for New Delhi, India, to participate in a meeting of the 12th South Asian Games to be held in India.

The meeting to be held on Wednesday will hold discussion about preparation of the SAG and also finalize date and venue of the mini Olympic of the sub-continent. Nepali team includes internationally recognized NOC President Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, General Secretary Jeevan Ram Shrestha and NSC Member Secretary Keshav Kumar Bista.

The team will also be accompanied by Lama Tendi Sherpa, the deputy General Secretary of NOC and the vice president of NSC. Sherpa who is also the President of Nepal Basketball Association is in Bangalore, India, for SABA Basketball Championship which concluded on Sunday.
