KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Sudurpaschim Royals faced an early setback in the first qualifier of the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).



Batting first after losing the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Sudurpaschim lost their first wicket on the fifth ball of the third over.

Biratnagar Kings’ fast bowler Marchant de Lange bowled out opener Mukhtar Ahmed. Ahmed scored 10 runs off 10 balls, hitting two boundaries, before returning to the pavilion.
