KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Karnali Yaks have secured victory over Lumbini Lions in Friday’s first match under the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Karnali secured a 5-run victory over Lumbini Lions, strengthening their chances of reaching the playoffs. With 8 points from 6 matches, Karnali have put themselves in a strong position. On the other hand, Lumbini Lions, with this defeat, remain with just one victory, having only defeated Chitwan Rhinos in their seven matches in the NPL.

Lumbini managed to score only 123 runs after losing 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, while chasing the target of 129 runs set by Karnali Yaks at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
