Despite having the same 8 points, Karnali secured a spot in the top four, surpassing Kathmandu Gurkhas on net run rate, even though they lost the match. If Sudurpaschim had chased the target in 12.2 overs, Kathmandu Gurkhas would have had a chance to qualify for the playoffs. However, it took 15.2 overs to reach the target of 102 runs. Biratnagar Kings, Pokhara Avengers, and Lumbini Lions have been eliminated in the initial stage.
Sudurpaschim are at the top with 12 points while Janakpur Bolts are at the second place with 10 points and will compete for the first qualifier. Similarly, in the eliminator, there will be competition between Rhinos and Yaks. Both the first qualifier and eliminator matches will be held on Wednesday.
The defeated team in the first qualifier will compete against the winner of the eliminator in the second qualifier on Thursday.
The final match will kick off at 12:30 pm on Saturday at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
