KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Janakpur Bolts have secured their third victory by defeating Pokhara Avengers today in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL).
In the match held at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Janakpur Bolts defeated Pokhara Avengers by 7 wickets. They achieved the target of 139 runs set by Pokhara Avengers with the loss of just three wickets in 17 overs and won their third consecutive match in the NPL.

In the victory of Janakpur Bolts, Lahiru Milantha contributed 45 runs, Aasif Sheikh scored 33, James Neesham contributed 40 runs. In the bowling front, Pokhara’s Bipin Khatri, Michael Leask and captain Kushal Bhurtel took 1 wicket each.
Pokhara, who lost the toss and were invited to bat first, managed to score a total of 138 runs after losing 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Pokhara Avengers’s defeat marked their second consecutive loss, as they had previously been defeated by Chitwan Rhinos.
