KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Janakpur Royals have secured a thrilling victory by 1 run against Lumbini Lions in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur after Harsh Thaker claimed 5 wickets with excellent bowling.
Janakpur got a thrilling victory after Thaker dismissed Sundeep Jora in the last ball. Lumbini Lions managed to score only 135 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs, while chasing the target of 137 runs set by Janakpur Bolts.

With this victory, Janakpur Bolts have registered their fourth consecutive victory in the ongoing NPL. Janakpur Bolts have climbed to the top position by adding 8 points from four matches.
Saad Bin Zafar and Sundeep Jora were dismissed for 16 runs. Although Captain Rohit Paudel scored 35 runs and Tom Mousley contributed with 31 runs, they could not lead the team to victory.
