KATHMANDU, May 18: Renowned Indian actress and celebrated dancer Nora Fatehi thrilled thousands of Nepali fans on Saturday with her performance at the “Nora Fatehi Live in Nepal” show at Hyatt Ground in Boudha.
Making her first-ever visit to Nepal, Fatehi repeatedly praised Nepali art and hospitality throughout the event. She credited the overwhelming love from Nepal and its people for her songs as an unforgettable and energizing experience.
"I'm well aware of how Nepali artists perform to my songs, and I often watch their dance clips. Some of my Nepali friends also tell me how much love I receive from here," said Fatehi.
In a surprise moment during her performance, she invited popular Nepali dancer Sushant Khatri on stage, stunning both the audience and organizers. "My talented Nepali friend," she said, as she welcomed him. Together, they danced to ‘Gehra Samandar’, drawing loud cheers and applause from the crowd.

Fatehi continued to surprise the audience by spotting content creator Gaurav Sitoula in the crowd and inviting him on stage. They performed in the song ‘Dilbar’ together. Sitoula, known for recreating Fatehi's dance videos on social media, expressed his excitement: "I'm a huge fan of Nora. I've performed to almost all of her songs. Dancing with her on stage feels surreal."
Backed by her 23-member dance crew, Fatehi delivered a powerful 40-minute set. She opened with her signature Snake Dance and followed it with energetic performances of Kusu Kusu, O Saki Saki, and Naach Meri Rani, keeping the audience dancing with her throughout.
"Your love and hospitality have recharged me. I've felt so much affection here. The people of this beautiful country are just as beautiful," Fatehi said while sharing her experience.
Fatehi arrived in Kathmandu on the morning of May 17 with two assistants and flew to the UAE on Sunday morning.
Dev Magar of Worldwide Films and Manish Karki of Manu Media organized the event in support of Human Respect Nepal, a social organization that helps children deprived of education.
The event also featured performances from popular Nepali artists, including singer Durgesh Thapa, dancers Teria Magar and Samarpan Lama, and the Top 5 contestants from The Voice of Nepal Season 6 – Process Pandey, Roshan Rai, Arpana Acharya, Pramesh Rai, and Indrakala Rai.
The vibrant blend of Indian and Nepali talent turned the evening into a memorable and entertaining cultural celebration.
