Denying the presence of a network of Indian Maoists or terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Toiba in Nepal, the Peace Minister said acts of such terrorist organizations would not be acceptable in the country.

He also said the Maoists´ statement that fake details were prepared from the east regional headquarters of Nepal Army and publicized was baseless.

Minister Chemjong also blamed the Maoists of not showing the willingness to initiate the process of integration and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants, even though the term of UNMIN was expiring on January 14.

He claimed that the task of integration and rehabilitation could be completed within a month if an agreement for the same was reached between the Maoists and other parties.
