KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he will not take any decision on the leadership of the Home Ministry until the full text of the verdict on Rabi Lamichhane's citizenship case is released by the Supreme Court.

Addressing the party's Standing Committee meeting held on Tuesday, Prime Minister Dahal said that he will not make an immediate decision on the leadership of the Home Ministry. The Home Ministry is without a minister after Lamichhane, who served as Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, tendered resignation from the post after the SC found him guilty in the citizenship case.

Vice President of Maoist Center Krishna Bahadur Mahara said, "Until the full text of the court's decision is out, there will be no decision on the leadership of the Home Ministry. The ministerial portfolio will remain with the prime minister."
