No agreement between Maoists, NC on CoAS ouster

KATHMANDU, April 28: A meeting between Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepali Congress leaders ended in disagreement Tuesday morning after the latter rejected Dahal’s proposal to oust Chief of Army Staff Rookmangud Katawal, our correspondent Yuvraj Acharya said.

Dahal reiterated that the government would relieve Katawal, but said the decision could be delayed by a couple of days to remove the climate of distrust that prevails among political parties.
