NFTA all set for 10 th edition of ‘NFTA Award’
Nepal Film Technician Association (NFTA) is going to organize the 10th edition of NFTA Film Award. NFTA organized a press meet on Monday and announced that the award function is scheduled for March 28 at Tudikhel.
In the press meet held at Kathmandu, various renowned faces of K-Town such as Buwan Chand, Basundhara Bhusal, Tulsi Ghimire, Rahesh Hamal, Bhuwan KC, Gauri Malla, and Nirmal Shah were also present.
This year the award is being organized in collaboration with Dream High Nepal Pvt Ltd. NFTA Film Award had not been held for past two years. Speaking about the reason behind this, president of the NFTA Pushkar Lama stated, “In the past few years, the number of awards has been increased drastically, which decreased the charm of the award and, that’s why we decided to take a break.”
The award function usually took place abroad in countries like Malaysia, Qatar, Hong Kong and Dubai, and this year to promote ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020’; it is being organized in Nepal.
According to the organizers, there will be around 37 award categories that include popular movie, popular actor, popular actress, best indigenous film and lifetime achievement award.
