Newly-appointed foreign service staff meet Prez Yadav

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Newly-appointed section officers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Tuesday held meeting with President Ram Baran Yadav.



The meeting was organized by the Institute of Foreign Affairs (IFA) as part of on-the-job training given to young diplomats, according to a press statement issued by the IFA.

On the occasion, IFA Executive Director, Rishi Raj Adhikari, had briefed the president about the on-the-job training to young diplomats.


According to IFA statement, President Yadav, while congratulating the young diplomats for joining foreign service, urged them to actively promote Nepal's national interests abroad in line with Nepal's foreign policy. President Yadav also lauded the initiatives taken by the IFA to enhance diplomatic skills of young diplomats.
