KATHMANDU, April 23: The stock market declined for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday, with the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index falling by 32.38 points to close at 2,655.94.
All sub-indices, except mutual funds, contributed to the market decline. While the development banks’ sub-index saw the highest drop, falling by 2.09 percent, investors in 217 listed companies suffered losses.
Nepse up for a fifth consecutive week

Corporate Development Bank experienced the steepest fall, with its share price dropping by 9.06 percent, while share prices of 28 companies increased.
Nepal Micro Insurance and Crest Micro Life hit the positive circuit limit. The market on Wednesday recorded a total turnover of Rs 7.57 billion.
Radhi Power Company posted the highest transaction, with shares worth Rs 584.2 million traded. Similarly, NRN Infrastructure and Development recorded transactions worth Rs 516.3 million, while Nyadi Power’s turnover reached Rs 410 million.
