KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Nepal Stock Exchange index dipped 7.84 points on Thursday. The index witnessed a fall to close at 1600 points from the opening of 1609.

The total 1 million 650 thousand 727 shares of a total of various 138 companies were traded at Rs 1 billion 208 million 739 thousand 123, the NEPSE said.
The share price of banks dropped by 0.69 percent, hotel by 1.92, hydropower by 2.08, finance by 0.65 and insurance company by 0.48 while share value of development bank increased by 0.57 percent, production sector by 0.16 and other groups by 0.27. RSS
