KATHMANDU, April 7: Nepali band Nepathya is set to return to the Kathmandu Valley stage after a two-year gap. The band last performed at Bhrikuti Mandap in 2023.

This time, the band will take the stage in Gokarneshwor on April 12. “On April 12, we will meet our audience in Nepal at the Gokarneshwor concert,” said lead vocalist and band leader Amrit Gurung.

The concert will take place at an open ground near Hanuman Chowk and is being organized by the local youth group ‘Ground of Events.’

“Municipalities within the Kathmandu Valley have larger populations than many other cities in Nepal. We were exploring the idea of organizing separate shows in these areas when the proposal for Gokarneshwor came up,” said Kiran Krishna Shrestha from Nepathya’s management company. “We are working to bring the same concert experience—modern, high-tech, and internationally styled—that the band has delivered abroad to the audience in Gokarneshwor.”
