Nepathya releases song of Tamor

Nepathya released a video of their old song, which was compiled nearly two decades ago. The song 'Pani Tirtire Lyau Bhanthe Babaile' was also collected by band's frontman Amrit Gurung. He recalled, "I was at Basantapur, Terhathum and was travelling to Taplejung and unexpectedly I found the first verse of the song."

The song, which emanated from the humming of grasscutters along the banks of the Tamor river, was crafted by the band to form folk rock song. Meanwhile, Nepathya has been releasing new songs through its YouTube channel for some years now. The YouTube channel is also being used as a platform to republish old songs that have already been released as new music videos, lyric videos or live videos.

In the same vein, a few days ago, Nepathya re-released one of their old songs, 'Simanama', as a 'lyric video'. Similarly, another old 'Choto Geet' has been released. Coincidentally, these three songs are taken from the album 'Bhedako Unnjusto'.

Explaining the background of the video, Amrit Gurung said that it was shot in Australia.
"We filmed it on Aldinga Beach in South Australia during our musical tour of Australia," he said.
