Most of the audiences were Nepali students studying in different colleges in and around Bangalore.
During their two-hour performance, Nepathya performed their evergreen hit numbers ‘Resham’, ‘Jomsom Bazaarma’, ‘Taalko Paani’, and ‘Chhekyo Chhekyo’ among others, to which the audiences cheered and even danced to, state a press release issued by nepa~laya.
The band also performed their yet-to-be-released song ‘O Rama Rama’. They had also performed this song in the past few shows.
Nepathya to perform in western Australia
Amrit Gurung, the front man of Nepathya, has expressed his joy to be amongst students in Bangalore, and even offered his words of wisdom as he said, “You’ve all come here from home with a purpose. May your purpose be fulfilled! Wherever you live, respect the local society, its culture and religion. Wherever you live, live in peace and harmony”, the press statement mentions.
Amrit Gurung, the lead vocalist of Nepathya, was accompanied by Suraj Thapa on keyboards, Dhruba Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass, Niraj Gurung on guitars and Shanti Rayamajhi on madal.
Nepathya’s affiliation to the theme of Education for Peace started in 2002 and since then the band has been performing in Nepal at schools and raising awareness and funds for the peaceful academic environment for many schools across Nepal.
