Nepal's address on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, May 26: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, who took oath of office and secrecy from President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Monday, is scheduled to address the nation on Tuesday. [break]



"He has decided to address the nation at 4:00 pm," Shankar Pokharel, secretary of CPN-UML, told myrepublica.com.



Nepal informed party´s standing committee about his decision and sought feedback from teh politburo members. "He took the decision on his own discretion," Pokharel said. He will also consult will other coalition partners on the matter.



Meanwhile, the standing committee of the party decided to intensify talks with coalition partners on cabinet expansion from Tuesday morning.
