Nepali student, who went missing in the UK, returns home safely

Earlier, Sachin had given statements to the Bristol police, but the police have not provided any information about how he went missing or how he was found.

LONDON, Nov 27: Nepali student Sachin Bhattarai, who had been missing in London, UK for the past eight days, has been found safe. His roommate in Bristol, Spandan Wagle, informed on Sunday evening that Sachin had returned to his lodging.


Earlier, Sachin had given statements to the Bristol police, but the police have not provided any information about how he went missing or how he was found.

Bhattarai had only arrived in the UK two months ago for higher education. The 24-year-old, who was studying MBA at the University of West England, had been out of contact since the evening of November 16. He had been working at a local Domino's Pizza.


Sachin's father, Shashikants Bhattarai, has thanked the British police, the Nepali embassy and the Nepali community in the UK for their support and concern in the search efforts.
