Nepali student becomes Brisbane International Student Ambassador

International students from 28 different countries, including Nepal, are made official Brisbane ambassadors to showcase the city as one of the best places in the world to study, work and live.   Bibidh Subedi from Nepal, who has been living and studying in the city for eight months, is one of Brisbane’s International Student Ambassadors for 2019.


Brisbane Lord Mayor, Adrian Schrinner informed that Bibidh, who is pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology at Queensford College, was appointed as a Brisbane International Student Ambassadors for next 12 months at a special ceremony held recently. According to the press statement issued by Brisbane Marketing Economic Development Board, as a Brisbane International Student Ambassador, Subedi will be engaging in active promotion and positive representation of Brisbane and its education.

The press statement quoted Cr Schrinner saying, “Being a Brisbane International Student Ambassador will provide Bibidh a unique experience in our city because of all the opportunities which come with being involved in the program.” Subedi shared that living in Brisbane has been an incredible and experience in a wide variety of ways.
