Nepali should decide country's fate: Bodde

POKHARA, Feb 27: US Ambassador Peter W. Bodde on Wednesday said that his government will not support any particular party as his government believes that Nepali should decide on their own what they want for their country.



“US government will not support a particular party,” Bodde who is on a two-day visit to West Nepal was speaking at an interaction program conducted by his embassy for Youth Council Nepal in Pokhara. [break]



“We will only support Nepalis’ efforts. Nepali should work own their own for their country,” the ambassador said.



He maintained that the government should conduct the election for institutionalizing democracy and added that the US government wished to see a fair election.



More than 54 youths from 29 various districts have been selected for the Youth Council Nepal for this year.
