Nepali player honored in UAE

KATHMANDU, July 31: Nepali martial arts player Karan Bahadur Chand has been honored in the United Arabic Emirates (UAE).


One of Dubai's prestigious clubs, The Tigers Martial Arts Club honored Chand recently.

Karan Bahadur Chand, 28, is a resident of Ultakham in Bhimdatta Municipality-2, who is currently in the UAE for employment to improve his economic condition. However, he is continuing his sports career there.


He has won medals by participating in various local competitions in Dubai time and again.


Chand said that he spends his leisure time on sports. Earlier, Chand was also honored by Dubai Police Academy, Arab Taekwondo Federation and various other prestigious organizations. ‘Success will follow hard work and dedication. I am very happy to be able to continue the sport here too,” he said.
