Amid a week-long nationwide lockdown that kicked off from Tuesday, Nepali musicians are making it productive even during the time of isolation and physical distancing.

A group of artists, entrepreneurs and social activists comprising Ranjan Ojha, Rohit Tiwari, Neha Banu Shah, Rohit Marwadi and Shashank Shree Neupane initiated a short virtual concert—Musicaloutbreak—a live streamed musical session through their personal Facebook handle on Tuesday.

"It aimed to encourage the physical distancing and be productive during the week-long nationwide lockdown," Founder of Social Café Ranjan Ojha told Mycity via phone.

“Usually a group of entrepreneurs, social activists and artists are brainstorming at the café.  And in this critical situation, we thought that let’s do something that will more impactful online. So we came with an idea, despite of having a physical distance, we can entertain people through online,” Ojha added.
