Jazz musicians get together at Moksh

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Local and foreign musicians will get together to offer a unique show with jazz classics from legends such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington that every music enthusiast will be able to enjoy. This special concert will take place at Moksh Bar in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur on Saturday, Dec 3.

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Local and foreign musicians will get together to offer a unique show with jazz classics from legends such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington that every music enthusiast will be able to enjoy. This special concert will take place at Moksh Bar in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur on Saturday, Dec 3. 



Mariano Abello is a versatile saxophonist and flute player from Spain, who has toured all over the world. He is the founder and director of Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (KJC), a unique place in Nepal for the development of music education.

Pratik Baniya is one of the greatest bass players of Nepal who plays the trombone for 1974 AD and also teaches at KJC. Chloe Van der Lek is a pianist and singer from Netherlands, who is also a graduate at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and has played around Europe .Kismat Shrestha is a multi instrumentalist specialized in drumming and who is now part of the band Albatross. 



The tickets are available at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory and are priced at Rs 300.
