KATHMANDU, Nov 14: A man from Myagdi who had reached Malaysia for employment has been stranded in a hospital after suddenly falling ill.

26-year-old Deepak Chantyal of Raghuganga Rural Municipality-8 of Myagdi has been undergoing treatment at the Government Ampang Hospital for the past 15 days, as Chantyal's health condition is complicated, and there is a need for immediate treatment and rescue.

“Chantyal, who was admitted to the hospital after a sudden illness, has been tested for heart and kidney damage and is being treated with oxygen,” said Purna Roka Magar, president of Mona Malaysia, adding, “Reports are yet to come. He can speak normally. However, as treatment is not possible in the current financial situation, everyone's help is needed.”

Roka, who reached the hospital after traveling 380 kilometers from Johor Baru Senai, Malaysia, after being informed that Chantyal was admitted to the hospital due to illness, said that since the cost of treatment in the government hospital is not possible only by collecting financial support, initiatives are also needed through the company and the Nepali embassy.

He also requested the Nepali people in the area around the hospital in the treatment of Chantyal and to get regular information from the health workers. He also informed Chantyal's family about the situation.

Speaking about Chantyal's health condition, the attention of the Nepali Embassy has also been drawn, Roka said that special attention should be paid to save Chantyal's life as he is on the verge of death. Mona Malaysia reports that Chantyal, who is admitted to the hospital, needs to be rescued.
