Nepali injured in Indian forest security firing

KANCHANPUR, June 2: A youth was injured seriously on Monday when the Indian Forest Security personnel opened fire at him.



The injured has been identified as Dil Bahadur Bogati, 24, of Parasan-4, the southern belt of Kanchanpur district.



Bogati sustained bullet injuries in his thigh when the Indian Forest Security personnel opened fire at him as he had gone for cattle grazing at the forest of Sumerunagar of India, said the Area Police Office Trobhuvan Basti.



The forest security personnel fired at Bogati saying that he entered the forest area, locals said.



It is said that the injured has been admitted at Seti Zonal Hospital with the help of the locals.
