Nepali football team arrives home to heroes' welcome (photo feature)

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The victorious Nepali football team, that clinched the title of Bangabandhu Gold Cup, returned home on Saturday.

A large number of supporters cheered for the players as they walked out of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) arriving from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

A victory rally was taken out by All Nepal National Football Association (ANFA) in honor of the team that ended title drought for Nepal after 23 years.

The rally began at TIA and will reached Dashrath Stadium passing through Gaushala, Old Baneshwor, New Baneshwor, Singha Durbar, Sahid Gate, New Road, Ratna Park, Purano Buspark, Bhadrakali and Tripureshwor.
