Nepali Congress win will safeguard democracy: Deuba

TEHRATHUM, Nov 27: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba claimed that the left alliance was a threat to democracy. Addressing a election gathering at Myanglung, the district headquarters, Deuba said that communist actors were trying to ‘revive a political ideology that has been extinct in the world. He urged the gathering to make the move unsuccessful by voting for the Nepali Congress.

Addressing a election gathering at Myanglung, the district headquarters, Deuba said that communist actors were trying to ‘revive a political ideology that has been extinct in the world. Tehrathum locals had reached the district headquarters to listen to the Prime Minister’s speech. Citizens were elated to know that youth leader Gagan Thapa was also to arrive at the gathering. However, they were slightly disappointed when Thapa could not make the trip.


Senior Congress leader Ram Chandra Paudel said that the left alliance was trying to bring a single party rule in the country. “To safeguard democracy, we must vote for the NC,” he said.
