Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Nepali celebs urge public to take safety measures to stem the spread of coronavirus.
Nepali megastar Rajesh Hamal used the social media platform to encourage the public on the importance of taking precautions against COVID 19, like social distancing, hand washing, and self-isolation to slow down it’s spread.
“There are cure and vaccine of other flues, but as the vaccine of COVID-19 is not invented yet, the only option for us is to take precautions,” said 55-year-old actor on 13-minute-long Facebook video shared on Sunday.

“I’ve also changed my daily routine for past four or five days—staying at home, and canceling the public gatherings. I think we all have to do these things according to our situation. Be it shopping or work, we should maintain the distance against crowd. And most importantly take care of your personal hygiene, like wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly for 20 seconds before entering home.”
Moreover, Hamal also requested public to do Namaste instead of handshake while greeting, to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Evergreen actress, Karshima Manandhar also shared a video on Facebook account about how she is taking precautions at home. “I’m staying inside the home. Also, I’d canceled the Holi event this year at my home to avoid public gathering, aiming to minimize the spread of coronavirus,” she said on the video.
Likewise, several other celebs including legendary comedian Santosh Pant, Deepa Shree Niraula, Deepak Raj Giri, Reecha Sharma also shared informative videos on being safe from COVID-19.
Meanwhile, singer Swoopna Suman took his Instagram handle on Sunday and shared that he will be performing a live session to entertain audiences through his official Instagram account.
He wrote, “I know staying indoors - doing nothing, can be boring. So, I want to do my part in keeping you all entertained by performing a live session for you through my INSTAGRAM account (@swoopnasumanofficial), while you all #StayHome. I will try to take some requests for songs and I will also try to accept requests so that we can go LIVE together. So, please do join in, if you can. It’ll give us time to talk and connect.”
