Embassy urges Nepali nationals in Korea to take precautions against COVID19

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Embassy of Nepal in South Korea has urged the Nepali students, entrepreneurs and laoborers in South Korea for special precautions against rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak in the country in recent days.

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Embassy of Nepal in South Korea has urged the Nepali students, entrepreneurs and laoborers in South Korea for special precautions against rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak in the country in recent days.


Releasing a press statement on Sunday, the Embassy also asked the Nepalis to go for a medical test if the infection is suspected.

"If there is any foreigner staying illegally in South Korea, s/he will not be arrested and deported to the country of origin in course of check-up and treatment," the press statement reads.


The South Korean government and Seol metropolitan city have been disseminating notices and sending alerts on the viral outbreak, according to the Embassy.
