Shrestha beat the Sri Lankan player in the 60-Kg category of the Championship being held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. He beat the Sri Lankan boxer on the basis fo points, according to Rajib Shrestha, President of Nepal Boxing Association.
Shrestha will vie with the Moroccan player in the quarter final round. Another Nepali boxer Bikas Lama however was defeated by Sri Lankan player on the basis of points. RSS
