Nepali athletes leave for 33rd Summer Paris Olympics

KATHMANDU, July 19: Nepali athletes who are participating in the 33rd Summer Paris Olympics have been given a farewell. President Ram Chandra Paudel conveyed his best wishes to all the players at a program held at Sheetal Niwas on Friday.

KATHMANDU, July 19: Nepali athletes who are participating in the 33rd Summer Paris Olympics have been given a farewell. President Ram Chandra Paudel conveyed his best wishes to all the players at a program held at Sheetal Niwas on Friday.


The President urged the players to compete in all sports with utmost dedication, stating that sports are the best way to make the nation known in the international arena.

President Paudel expressed his belief that the participation of athletes in the Summer Paris Olympics would be prestigious for the country. He motivated all the athletes to participate in all sports with utmost enthusiasm and dedication.


The president handed the national flag to Nepal Sports Council Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising.


The Minister for Youth and Sports, Tejulal Chaudhary, urged the athletes to participate with high morale and wished them success.


Minister for Youth and Sports, Chaudhary, president of Nepal Olympic Committee Jeevan Ram Shrestha, athletes, and coaches participating in the 33rd Summer Paris Olympics were present on the occasion.
