After being sent in to bat, Kathmandu were put to face a disciplined bowling and could only muster 67/6 in 20 overs. Captain Neera Rajopadhyay topscored with 19 off 32 balls. Geeta Chudal (11) and Nima Tamang (10) contributed to the total while Binu Buda Magar and Samana Pun grabbed a wicket each. [break]
In reply, Sita Rana (20 off 37), Mamata Thapa (15 not out) and Manisha Rawal (10 off 25) made an easy inroad for the thumping victory in 18.3 overs.
Nepalgunj have already qualified for the final with five wins in as many matches while Kathmandu are second with three wins from four, Bhairahawa third with two wins from three and Biratnagar fourth with one win from three matches.
