KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Nepal has completed a whitewash against Afghanistan after winning the second friendly on Thursday. The friendly series was hosted as preparation for the AVC Central Zone volleyball to kick off on August 17.
Nepal came from 2-0 behind to win three consecutive sets and hence claimed the friendly series. After losing the first two sets to Afghanistan 22-25 and 15-25, there was no looking back for the hosts. They won the third and fourth set by the same margin of 26-24

The game went on to the final set. The Nepali spikers held their nerves and defeated the Afghanis 15-12.
Nepal will now play the AVC Asian Senior Men’s Central Zone Volleyball Championship slated for August 17 to 28 at Army Facility in Lagankhel.
