RAUTAHAT, Dec 23: Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that Nepal will not go against any of its neighbors.
Inaugurating a newly-constructed health post building at Brindaban Municipality-5 Narkati of Rautahat, he made it clear that Nepal should not join any military alliance. When asked whether Nepal should pass the MCC, he said that Nepal would not participate in any kind of military alliance, would not participate in any security strategy and would not participate in any activities against its neighbors.
Neighbors should not interference with Nepal's internal affairs...
Nepal said that discussions are being held between the party and the government about MCC as Nepalis can make their own decisions on Nepal's development, employment and other rights.
Speaking in the mother tongue of local Rautahat, Nepal said that there was a five-party coalition government and work was being done in consultation with the five parties.
