Nepal U-18 enters into final after penalty shoot-out win against India U-18

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Nepal U-18 enters to the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-18 Women Championship after defeating India U-18 by 3-1 on penalties on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Nepal U-18 enters into the final of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-18 Women Championship after defeating India U-18 by 3-1 on penalties on Thursday.


The semi-final match was played at Changlimithang Stadium, Thimpu, Bhutan. The match proceeded to the tie-breaker after a 1-1 draw.

Rashmi Kumar Ghising, in the 16th minute, gave the Nepali side a goal lead before India's Samikshya leveled the score in 65th minute. 


Nepal will play against the winner of host Bhutan and Bangladesh in the final.
