Nepal to play against Iran today

KATHMANDU, Feb13: Nepal is playing against Iran in its last league match of the Hero Gold Cup at Bhuveneshwor, India today.

The match is going to be held in Kalinga Stadium, Odisha at 4 PM. Nepal has added three points from the two games against Myanmar and India. Today’s game against Iran will decide whether Nepal will qualify for the second position or have to wait for the results of another game between Myanmar and India.

For Nepal to qualify the finals, it should defeat Iran and await Myanmar’s victory over Indian football team.

So far, Myanmar is leading with six points, Nepal and India share three points at the current stage. Iran is yet to gain points.
