KATHMANDU, April 18: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said it was a matter of pride and happiness for Nepal to participate in the space.
Issuing a message today on the occasion of the launching of Nepal's first-ever satellite 'Nepal Sat-1' at 2.31 this morning, Vice President Pun expressed delight on the launching of Nepali satellite to space.

He also expressed gratefulness to the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) and Nepali scientists for the glorious beginning and also congratulated to entire Nepali people for the achievement. He expressed his confidence that the launching of the satellite 'Nepal Sat-1' would be fully successful and also wished for further big success in the sector in the days to come.
