KATHMANDU, Jan 5: CPN-UML leader Ishwar Pokhrel has received a sole endorsement to contest the House of Representatives elections from Kathmandu Constituency-5.
The party’s Constituency Coordination Committee, in a meeting held on Sunday, unanimously recommended Pokhrel as the candidate for the upcoming elections scheduled for March 5.

Pokhrel has a long-standing connection with Kathmandu-5, his home constituency, where he has previously contested elections and faced defeat against Nepali Congress leader Pradip Paudel.
