KATHMANDU, Jan 1: The political document tabled by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the party’s ongoing general convention has been endorsed unanimously.
Chairman Dahal had tabled the political document on Monday in the closed-door session of the Eighth General Convention. Discussions were held in the party chairman’s document on Tuesday and Wednesday by forming 25 separate groups.
In the party’s closed session, leaders Haribol Gajurel, Surendra Karki and Lekhnath Neupane had tabled supplementary reports along with their comments on Dahal’s political document.

Addressing the closed-door session on Friday, Chairman Dahal assured to enrich his report by incorporating the thoughts and aspirations of all voices to make the party trustworthy and ideologically clear.
On the occasion, the former Prime Minister stated that Maoist Center was the pioneer political force in terms of agendas and programs and pledged to make his party the single largest one.
After Chairman Dahal pledged to incorporate all concerns raised from the cadre-level, the political document was tabled for decision on behalf of the presidium.
Likewise, Dahal announced to hold the party’s special general convention by keeping ideology in center for further discussion after the leaders and cadres’ argument for such a special jamboree.
