Nepal's COVID-19 tally reaches 109 with seven new cases today morning

KATHMANDU, May 9: With seven new cases Saturday morning, the total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has reached 109, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) said.

KATHMANDU, May 9: With seven new cases Saturday morning, the total number of COVID-19 infections in Nepal has reached 109, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) said.


Of the newly infected patients, three males (aged 17, 18 and 18) hail from Kapilvastu and three females (aged 18, 45, and 65) hail from Bhulke of Udayapur and another 62-year-old male hail from Chhapkaiya of Parsa district.

According to Dr Sameer Kumar Adhikari, the assistant spokesperson at the ministry, their throat swab specimen was tested at the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, and Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar today morning.
