KATHMANDU, March 5: Nepal recorded 91 new cases of COVID-19 along with 362 recoveries and zero fatalities from the deadly virus on Saturday, according to the latest information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 6,220 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 67 PCR and 24 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,011 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,816 are in self-isolation, 131 in institutional isolation, 53 in ICU’s and 11 on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,945 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 21 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 15 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur, and two in Lalitpur districts.
