KATHMANDU, March 13: Nepal recorded 65 new cases of COVID-19 along with 192 recoveries and zero deaths from the deadly virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 7,947 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 59 PCR and six antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 4,958 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 4,819 are in self-isolation, 98 in institutional isolation, 35 in ICU’s and six on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,950 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 27 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 24 cases were recorded in Kathmandu and three in Lalitpur districts.
