KATHMANDU, July 11: Nepal recorded 1,831 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Likewise, 20 individuals succumbed to the disease on the same day.
How to help vulnerable groups
Only 5,535 PCR tests and 3,683 antigen tests were conducted on Sunday. Of them, 1,237 PCR tests and 594 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.
Similarly, 391 new cases were detected in the Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 263 were recorded in Kathmandu, 31 in Bhaktapur and 97 in Lalitpur districts.
