In the four team group B match, Bangladesh thumped Nepal by nine wickets in its second match on Friday. Earlier, Nepal suffered a 20 run defeat on Thursday. In both the matches, Nepal came up with poor batting show.[break]
In the match held the Guangdong International Cricket Stadium on Friday, Nepal was bowled out for 45 runs in 19.3 overs after being invited to bat first by Bangladeshi women team. Bangladesh reached the target in 10.3 overs losing one wicket.
Nepal was defeated by Bangladesh in the final of ACC Women´s championship in 2007 by eight wickets which was Nepal´s first international tournament.
Sixth order batswomen Nary Thapa was the only Nepali player to reach double digit. Thapa remained unbeaten on 12 runs off 23. Nepal got extra 10 runs.

Opening batswoman Rekha Rawal, Sarita Magar, Karuna Bhandari and wicketkeeper Mamta Thapa were out without scoring a single runs. Skipper Rubina Chhetry was out for nine runs while Roshani Bohara (4), Neera Rajopadhyaya (5), Sita Rana Magar (3) were out cheaply. S Khadka and RS Chaulagain scored one run each. Rumana Ahmed of Bangladesh claimed two wicket of Nepal.
In its run chase, Bangladeshi opening pair of Sharmin Akhter (21) and Lata Mondal (14) played 34 runs partnership for the first wicket before Mondal was stumped by wicketkeeper Thapa. Rumana Ahmed was unbeaten on five runs along with Akhter. Mondal of Bangladesh was declared the player of the match. Nepal gave extra six runs.
Earlier, on Thursday, Sri Lanka elected to bat first and made 78 runs losing eight wickets. In reply, Nepal could manage only 58 runs losing nine wickets.
Skipper HASD Siriwardene was the highest scorer for Sri Lanka with 23 off 33. SK Dolawatte (11) and MADD Surangika (15) were the other Sri Lankan batswomen to reach double digit. Sri Lanka got extra six runs.
Skipper Rubina Chhetri was the pick of Nepali bowler claiming four wickets in her four overs spell conceding seven runs. Sonu Khadka claimed two wickets.
In the run chase, none of the Nepali players reached double figure. Sira Rana Magar scored the highest nine runs for Nepal. Neera Rajopadhyaya was unbeaten on seven runs. Sarita Magar (5), Nary Thapa (6), Karuna Bhandari (5), Sonu Khadka (4) and Indu Verma (5) contributed for Nepal. Nepal got extra 12 runs.
The players of the match declared HASD Siriwardane and SK Dolawatted in Sri Lanka claimed two wickets each.
Nepal will play its last group match against host China on Monday.
