Tourism Minister Bhattarai vows to make civil aviation sector safe, credible

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai on Saturday vowed to make the civil aviation sector safe and credible.

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai on Saturday vowed to make the civil aviation sector safe and credible.  


Addressing a function organized in the capital to mark the International Civil Aviation Day, the minister said that the government is committed to enhancing the quality of civil aviation as per the international standards.

"We have made progress in aviation safety keeping in mind the issues raised by the ICAO and other international organizations," he said.


He also urged government officials and airlines to work to make the civil aviation sector safe and credible. "I urge one and all to support in government's efforts in making the civil aviation sector safe and credible," the minister said.


Bhattarai also urged airlines to improve their services.
