KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The meeting of the Nepal-France consultation mechanism is being held in the capital city on Wednesday.
A five-member delegation led by French Foreign Secretary is arriving in Kathmandu on Wednesday itself to attend the meeting being held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Nepal-France diplomatic relations.
The delegation is arriving in Kathmandu at the invitation of Nepal's Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi, said the Foreign Ministry, adding that the meeting would hold discussion on various issues including the strengthening of bilateral relations and mutual interest.
Foreign Secretary Bairagi informed, "The issues to be featured in the consultation meeting are energy, trade, tourism, urban development, information and communications, climate change, culture and others."
The meeting would also be attended by the high-level officials from various other ministries. RSS
