KATHMANDU, Sept 20: Nepal secured three gold medals in the Friendship Judo Tournament held in Thimpu, Bhutan.
According to Nepal Judo Association (NJA) Secretary Dharma Kumar Shrestha, Nepal also earned three silver and three bronze medals in the tournament.

Sachin Waiba of Nepal won gold in the men's 40 kg section and Sanjog Bhatta in 55 kg category. Similarly, Kabita Nepali secured first position in women's open section.
Nepali players from CWCN had competed in the event which had seven gold medals up for grabs. Bhutan finished with four golds.
