Nepal Family Party Chairman Dhakal extends support to storm victims

KATHMANDU, April 5: Chairperson of Nepal Family Party, Eknath Dhakal-led group has reached the storm-affected areas on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, April 5: Chairperson of Nepal Family Party, Eknath Dhakal-led group has reached the storm-affected areas on Thursday. Chairperson Dhakal also handed over Saurya Urja solar power lights to 170 storm-affected homes of Devtal Rural Municipality which could not have proper access to relief materials.



Dhakal expressed commitment to further support the storm victims. A former peace minister, Dhakal appreciated the contributions of government agencies, security personnel and various non-government organizations to providing relief materials to the victims.

General Secretary of the party, Binod Dangi, Spokesperson Santos Kumar Poudel, former Member of Parliament, Milan Rajbanshi and former NCP lawmaker Pralhad Lamichanne, among others, supported Dhakal in the campaign.


A group of 27 young individuals reached Rampurwama of Devtal Rural Municipality from Thimi, Bhaktapur with relief materials. Locals acknowledged the support from the entire nation after the devastating storm hit Bara and Parsa districts hard.


Distribution of relief materials from representatives of various sectors and civil society bodies from different areas of the country is continuing in the districts.
