KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Nepal and Belarus have signed an agreement exempting holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from visa requirements.
Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Before signing the agreement, the two foreign ministers held a cordial meeting and discussed various issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening friendly bilateral relations between Nepal and Belarus and expanding cooperation in areas including labour, education, trade, investment and people to people ties.
